Peanut Butter Rice Crispy Bars Topped with Chocolate Recipe

1 C sugar                                                     6.5 oz. rice crispy cereal

1 C light corn syrup                                   6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 ½ C peanut butter                                 6 oz. butterscotch chips

1 tsp. vanilla


1.  Bring sugar and corn syrup to a boil.


2.  Remove from heat, add vanilla and peanut butter.  Mix well until well blended and smooth.


3.  Add rice crispy cereal.  Mix well until well coated.


4.  Pat into bottom of slightly buttered 9 X 13 pan.



5.  Melt chips together until well blended.  Do not overheat.


6.  Spread over bars.  Cool.  Cut into squares.



Great for Christmas cookie exchanges,

bake sales or just for

lunch box snacks.
