Pecan Pie (Grandma Kushman’s recipe)


3 eggs

2/3 cup sugar

1/2 tsp. salt

1/3 cup butter, melted

1 cup light or dark corn syrup

1 cup pecans (Halves or pieces)

Heat oven to 375*.
1. Beat eggs, sugar, salt, melted butter and corn syrup together till well blended.
2. Mix in pecan.
3. Pour into store bought or homemade, unbaked pie crust.
4. Wrap aluminum foil around edge of crust to keep from burning edge.
5. Bake 40-50 minutes or until center is set and pastry is golden brown.
6. Cool.
7. Serve cold or slightly warm with ice cream or whip cream.
