Beef Barley Soup

1 lb. ground beef
Onion salt to taste
2 lb. bag mixed veggies
16 oz. bag chopped okra
2 – 3 potatoes (peeled and chopped)
1 qt. tomato juice
Handful barley

Boil ground beef in about 4 cups water. Season with onion salt. Cool overnight. Skim fat from top. Place remaining ground beef and water in crock pot. Add veggies, okra, potatoes, tomato juice and barley. Cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 8 hours. Serve with crackers and cheese or beer bread.
